Worldwide electricity generation from dirty coal reached record highs in 2023 and thermal coal exports exceeded 1 billion metric tons for the first time as coal’s use in power generation systems continues to grow in spite of widespread commitments to cut back on fossil fuels.
It was reported that coal fired electricity generation was 8295 terawatt hours through October 2023, that is up 1% from the same time period in 2022 and the highest ever on record.

I don’t use scare tactics, but how does one reword this and not make it sound scary?
“Over the past two years almost 40000 dark web posts about the sale of internal company data have been uncovered by Kaspersky Digital Footprint.”
These ‘posts’ are created by cybercriminals who buy, sell and distribute data stolen from companies through cyberattacks.
The sad fact is, most businesses will be subjected to an e-attack and few have done nothing to prepare.

War hurts more than just people and property.
There are lots of articles and interviews about the War in Gaza, but not much about its effects on the environment.
This video is meant to be about the environment but I cannot count even once where they reference fauna or flora.
Regardless, it does offer a little bit of information for our imaginations to begin to work out how epically devastating war is for Mother Nature.
I think we are all a victim of something.
But. We are also SURVIVORS.
Bad things happen to us all.
- Step 1 is to ensure you prevent it from happening to you again.
- Step 2 is to get up off the ground and get on with your life and business.
Retribution can often steal your time and resources. We remain responsible for our own attitude and actions.
